Here it is, the first Joseph and Haylee Prete family post. We just got back from a long weekend visiting my parents in Hurricane, UT, where we attended a funeral (Uncle Wally), a baby shower (my sister Shelley, twins), and a wedding (my sister Laurleen). They all took place in a 25 hour time period. Needless to say, most parties involved are still trying to recover. It's been a good day - the kind of day when you feel like you actually accomplished something because much of your to-do list has been checked off. My house is back in order. Laundry is almost clean. Kids are napping, and you can take a breath. We are going to a barbecue for dinner at a friend's house, so the 5 o'clock pressure that usually attends this time of day is off. Thanks to my friend Jen Heap (former missionary companion), sorry Jen Lund for inspiring me to start this blog.
